Safety at Velocity Group begins with the management team’s leadership approach to the safety program’s implementation and effectiveness. They attend health and safety meetings, respond to employee feedback and implement new safety measures as part of the continuous improvement processes. Velocity Group has invested in health and safety and taken concrete steps to develop a safety program that exceeds industry standards.
As part of this program, we conduct Job Safety Analysis for all work-related tasks and have an Internal Accountability System in place. This rigorous program tracks employee training and ensures personnel are fully-certified during onboarding and remain certified while working for the company. Safe work practices are reinforced by a mentorship program and incentives for safe conduct in the workplace.
