Who We Are
Velocity Group began as Velocity Geomatics in 2013 and then joined forces with Velocity Engineering in 2016. Velocity Group now houses surveying, environmental, professional engineering expertise and construction support within a single entity. The pairing of these disciplines makes our company strategically positioned to offer integrated solutions across a wide variety of industries.
Velocity Group forms strong partnerships with its clients and works collaboratively with them towards accomplishing project goals. In addition to superior technical capabilities, Velocity Group has a firm understanding of the regulatory environment. We use this knowledge to identify pinch-points and mitigate them, so projects stay on track and on budget.
Velocity Group embraces technology and innovation to enhance outcomes while lowering risks to stakeholders. Drones, Light Detection and Ranging (Lidar), and 3D Machine Control are just some examples of applications used to improve accuracy while reducing the amount of site work required to plan and complete projects.
